On Google you can show up by paying (Google Ads) or by earning your place (SEO). SEO takes longer, but once you are there you do not pay per visit.
Google has two kinds of result. At the top, the ones marked Sponsored: those are ads, paid per click. Below, the ordinary ones: appearing there costs nothing per visit.
The catch is that the spot cannot be bought. You earn it by tidying the site, writing what people actually search for, and getting others to link to you. It takes months.
Almost everyone here searches on a phone, minutes away from wherever they are. The Google profile — the one with the map, hours and reviews — usually brings more customers than the website.
It is the first thing we sort out: correct categories, photos and above all accurate seasonal opening hours. Showing as open when you are closed costs you real customers.
People here search in Catalan, Spanish and French, and not always with the same words. A site in a single language quietly leaves part of the market out.
Working out which language each type of customer searches in, and writing for each, is one of the most profitable things you can do in this country.
This is what we do, and we do not leave it sitting still.
It is almost never just one thing. We will tell you which combination makes sense for you.
The ads at the very top of Google. You only pay if somebody enters your site, and our job is to make that visit worth it.
We are not after a pretty website. We are after one where it is clear what you sell and easy to get in touch.
Ads on Facebook and Instagram. They are not for everything, and we will tell you when they are not.
It is not magic and it will not run your business. It is a tool that makes us faster, and you end up noticing that in the price.
Tell us what you do and we will tell you what we would do. No commitment.
